Having given us just two posts in the last two years, French female muscle blogger and friend of FMSOzzy Female Muscle has started 2015 in a prolific mood. If things don’t change, I will be able to post more. I really hope so! he tells us. So do we.
In fact, Ozzy’s not just in the midst of (for him, anyway) a veritable posting frenzy, he’s also thinking about taking commissions and doing comics, and appealing for advice on both counts. He’s also looking for someone to colour his sketches, and someone else to save him the time-consuming job of translating from his native French into English.

Today the art of female muscle returns to FMS after a considerable time away, and I think you will agree it is quite a return. Alex “Wreckage” Wright aka Wreckage International is best-known for his huge moving sculptures that have featured at such high-profile events as this year’s Burning Man, Glastonburys passim, and the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 London Paralympics. But he is also a graphic designer and, of most interest to the female muscle fan, no slouch with the oil paints.
This huge painting in Whitecross St. (near Old St. in London) that was originally made for The Rise of the Non-Conformists annual Whitecross Street Party last year is still there for all to see – or at least it was until about a month ago as far as we know.
Imagine a world where one of Wreckage International’s big muscular beauties hang huge, proud and half-naked on EVERY street corner! My kind of world…

Because blessed is the man (I am assuming) who goes to places you have always wanted to go, and, with a steady hand, records the kind of gloriously gorgeous women you have always wanted to get close to. Here at FMS, we like to think that we celebrate women, or muscular women at least, every day. But last Sunday, International Women’s Day, was the official day for the whole world to do so. It’s celebrated in different ways in different regions, ranging from a general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women’s economic, political, and social achievements.
The article had originally appeared on zennie62blog.com on IWD 2013, with the title Get Strong for Change, and featured Sarah Hayes and Kortney Olson.
The article argues that Sarah, Kortney and by extension all FBBs are the epitome of female empowerment, and as such are the perfect poster girls for International Women’s Day. It’s partly their physical strength that empowers them, but more importantly than that, it’s their attitude because, the author points out, They don’t wait for others to empower them, they empower themselves.
It’s a passionate and obviously personal piece of writing that gives female bodybuilders the kind of praise you would only normally find in places like, well, FMS.
Personally, I’ve liked women who were, as they say, buffed, or athletic, since I was 14 years old. I never grew up with the idea that a woman had to be weaker than me, or that I had to be able to physically control a woman, the author tells us.
And there’s a simple and direct message for the female muscle haters: For those who think there’s something wrong with women who have muscle, please get over it. That idea must be jettisoned from the World’s society, and the sooner the better. Let’s start by celebrating female bodybuilders, passionately, and openly!
Meanwhile, over in Brazil (fabled land of quality female muscle – see FMS passim), FMS reader Francisco, formerly known as O Carteiro, the blogger and artist who in the past brought us Cartas de Musculosas, Super Trunfo Musculosas, and Blog das Musculosas, was inspired to celebrate IWD 2014 by combining pictures of some of his (and our) favourite FBBs with some of his favourite quotes on female empowerment.
FMS is honoured that Francisco has allowed us to feature his work, and have chosen a few faves from the 32 he sent us to illustrate today’s post, but you, dear reader, can download all of them and select your own favourites if you prefer.

Not an Abs Queen as such, but a creator of Abs Queens, Aussie resident Edinaus has featured on FMS before (see Artist of the Day). His photo manipulation work makes all women just that little bit more muscular than they really are.
It’s a world FMS is a huge fan of. Why wouldn’t you be? ‘Normal’ women get muscles, women with a little muscle get a little bit more, and so on to the top of the muscle tree. All the women have ripped, defined abdominals, and any women that feature in his art that don’t have muscle are always making out with their muscular girlfriend. It’s a world I’d like to live in, or at least be able to visit from time to time.

Best Naughty Abs: AUTUMN RABY
Though she was a competitive bodybuilder (it’s easy to forget, but she was, though I advise you to search for details under her full name Tonia Autumn Raby) Autumn is best remembered without her clothes on in the photoshoots and clips she made for her own website, Autumn’s Paradise (sadly no longer with us) and Denise Masino’s Muscle Elegance (now called Muscle Pinups). She gets FMS‘ vote for ‘Best Naughty Abs Queen’, despite once claiming I never do them [in the gym].
She claimed to have developed her muscles while working as a waitress, People always told me I had big arms from carrying the tray. It isn’t a sport but some days I was really running around the restaurant/bar. She went on to win Miss Nude British Columbia in 1998, and tour Canada as an exotic dancer, intimidating some of the guys with her muscle definition. A phone call from Denise Masino led to her starting to compete and to her career as ‘The Internet’s Hottest Muscle Diva’.
I am happy I can give some joy and/or pleasure to others out there, she once said. Well, she certainly gave FMS a hell of a lot of that. And for me, one of the things that set her apart from other nude muscle models of the time was her superior conditioning, and her magnificent, ripped, deep-ridged abdominals.
And we finish today with a little of Autumn’s Muscle Elegance work and in incredible condition. We advise you to put your best heat resistant clothing on before attempting to watch this.

This Brazilian artist is, like RDR (who was featured yesterday), taking female muscle art to new places. Muscular women, often based on top female bodybuilders, are depicted in sexy, impressionistic works that speak directly to the female muscle lover’s imagination in a totally unique way.

It’s almost like they are posters made of our fantasies, containing the female bodybuilder herself, the object of our desire, but also the nature of the desire, projected in the ‘slogan’.
