C.Moore Glootz’s Fun from Rear

ON SHAPE

imagebam.com imagebam.com

C. Moore is AWARE the left above image isn’t REAL, but is there just to illustrate conventional rear shape. Kind of shape that’ll win you Rear of the Year – twice! (he snorted). The shape of the glootiful muscle butt is, note, way different (see right).

imagebam.com imagebam.com

More important, conventional butt is ALWAYS the same shape. Hard muscle butt is all changeable depending on the pose, the heels, the flexions, etc. And therefore is, even to C. Moore with his low boredom threshold, ENDLESSLY fascinating.

imagebam.com

Every time she moves – a NEW butt! And better still, left gloot flexed one way, right flexed another… TOTALLY DIFFERENT shapes although SAME butt! Like two for the price of one (of your favourite product). What, pray tell, is not to like?

imagebam.com imagebam.com

To summarise. One-shape fits all conventional butt is DULL, samey. Shape-shifting muscle butt is INTERESTING as forever reforming into glootiful new shapes.

Thus, SUPERIOR.

Freaky Frida

imagebam.com imagebam.com

How many times have you heard that people are using mirrors to the gym to “do it right”? I use the mirror because I love the sight of a real pump in the muscles, seeing them almost explode! Veins coming out… It makes me psyched to train harder.
Frida Palmell’s blog, 1st October

Sweden’s IFBB pro Frida Palmell must have spent much of the last few years in a state of total psychedness because when it comes to pumped-up muscles and vascularity, there aren’t many active FBBs I can think of who even come close.

imagebam.com

Nor are there any FBB blogs that are quite as entertaining, thought-provoking or written with such disarming honesty as Frida’s. As well as her body, she bares her soul on it, and as an insight into the life of a female bodybuilder, it’s second to none.

In the last month Frida has shared her thoughts on why teenagers turn to drugs (and what the Swedish government should be doing about it) and a post entitled ‘I’m so damn special/I’m so fucking special’. She’s outed and taken on a Facebook bully, and written about a horrific experience of abuse she suffered a number of years ago. She’s written extensively about her 14th place in her first try at physique at the Tampa Pro (too veiny according to the judges), and lamented Swedish conservatism.

All in the last month.

And then there are the images she uploads to go with her ever-interesting words. If you like the muscles on your woman pumped beyond belief and traversed with fully-engorged veins, you’ll like these. They are images as freaky as you could ever wish for.

Watch Frida days after competing at the Tampa Pro and see if you agree with the judges that she is too vascular. She might like to hear what you think. She did put a still from the clip on Facebook with the question ‘Too much veins?’

Follow Frida on her blog or Facebook page.

More freakiness tomorrow. Enjoy!

Woman vs Food

imagebam.com
Ever seen the film ‘Diner’? Remember the scene when one of the minor characters, Earl I think his name is, eats ‘the whole left side of the menu’ as a bet? Well, Kashma Maharaj loves that film, and as she also loves feeding her mighty muscles, she can often be found in Florida diners recreating that scene.

A muscle woman’s got to eat. Those muscles that we love so much are just as much the result of her diet as they are of her efforts in the gym. If she wants to grow, she’s got to eat, and she’s got to eat a lot. Female bodybuilders, it seems to me, are not only great athletes, but they’re also great eaters.

While the majority of women who want to lose their extra pounds choose salads, skip meals and generally try to eat less, muscle goddesses not only eat more, but also more often. It may seem counter-intuitive, mainly because most women have fallen for the ‘eat less diet myth’, but female bodybuilders are living proof that if you eat the right things in the right amounts, you can eat five, six, seven, even eight times a day and have hardly any excess fat.

Yeon Woo Ji has clearly just stuffed her face (and not for the first time that day, I’ll bet), but still has a set of abs lettuce-munchers can only dream of.

But she can’t eat just any old thing, she’s got to eat right. Muscle women know what to eat and crucially when to eat it. So, again, they’re more than just great athletes, they’re also expert nutritionists.

And if eating right involves preparing meals for days in advance – as, for example, we learned from Rene Campbell’s description of her travel plans before the Chicago Pro (see Rene Goes Pro) – that’s going to mean eating meals out of airtight containers in hotel rooms, at airports, even on planes.

Frida Palmell has grown to love the home-prepared meals she carries around with her everywhere that she was inspired to pen a poem about it. Entitled ‘An Ode to Tupperware and Plastic Cutlery’, the poem can be read in the original Swedish and an English translation on her website.

Meanwhile, in her forthcoming autobiography, Mary Hobbs recalls having to flex for a customer officer who was suspicious of the amount of pre-cooked food in her luggage. “After a double biceps and a most muscular he was quite happy with my explanation that I needed all the food to keep my muscles growing,” she recalls.

But after months of dietary discipline, and weeks of heroic pre-contest dieting, there’s always the big post-contest blow-out to look forward to. The one day when the muscle woman gets to have a well-deserved treat.

Susan Rydmyr has revealed to FMS that her motivational mantra is ‘Muscle=Medals and Medals=Micky Ds”.

Meanwhile, muscle goddess Helle Nielsen has more of a sweet tooth, and a big thing for cupcakes. When she sent us this picture for our ‘Woman vs Food’ week she told us that about fifteen seconds after this picture was taken, all those cupcakes in front of her ‘had magically disappeared’.

Enjoy!

Ts of the Day

WHOLE LOTTA LOVE

Even more love in the room than normal with this final selection of the week…

She loves…

Protein! And judging by those legs, she’s been getting through a lot of it.
imagebam.com imagebam.com
Herself! Just in case the fact that she’s one of the most prolific uploaders of her own snaps had left you wondering, Frida Palmell makes it absolutely clear.

Skateboys!
imagebam.com
Sensational Sophie Arvebrink might know what she loves, but she doesn’t know whether to flex her bicep or her chest. And I don’t know whether to dig out my old skateboard from the deep dark depths of the back of the shed or admit I’m never going to be described as a ‘boy’ again, and dig out my ‘Sophie Favourites’ folder instead. Either course might result in serious injury.

FMS loves…

Top T Runner-up

So much to love about this, not least the spectacular shoulders on this lady. But this makes our top two on attitude rather than appearance. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a woman making it clearer that she doesn’t want to be disturbed while she’s working on her fantastic physique. Not only is there the explicit threat of a butt-kicking for would-be botherers, there’s also the fact she’s kind of hiding under the cap as well, which just makes her all the more mysterious and consequently all the more attractive.

Love this! And if a pretty muscle babe like this is going to wear ‘Squats will make you a goddamn sexual Tyrannosaurus’ on her T-shirt, you have to suspect that she’s up for proving it’s true. I just can’t help imagining her wearing this T-shirt, flexing her bicep and grinning from ear to ear having just pushed me down onto the bed… Gulp.
It’s going to be a LONG (but beautiful) night…
